How we learn

Our approach

The Natasha's babyland/Wonderland teaching philosophy is supported by the 'Open Plan Schooling' concept. A concept implemented in England, Sweden, Italy and other countries around the world. Having tailored the concept to maintain local and international standards, we support active learning by not isolating specific age groups in the confines of a designated space but by rather encouraging the free movement of our children guided by their teacher thereby allowing our children to feel unrestricted.

Our classes

Our programme is tailored to promote intellectual, physical, social and emotional development essential to every developmental stage of our children's growth. Our children are provided with activities that develop a sense of self-confidence and challenge their individual skills. Offering small classes with up to 15 children per group, based on the age of the children, our classes are categorised according to the age of the child and the chosen language of instruction: Departments: English speaking department Bilingual department Greek speaking department

Daily program - Curriculum

Learning is frequently developed through play-based activities, centred around a range of a child friendly topics or themes. All areas of learning are interrelated and are not taught in isolation, but in a cross-curricular fashion. This ensures a balanced education for your child and learning with understanding and enjoyment.

Sports

Encouraging the development of gross motor skills we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities for our children including Ballet / Kids Dance Swimming Mini Tennis/Mini Sports/Baby Sports Tae Kwon Do Kids Yoga as well as a Cooking Club for children who have an interest in the culinary experience and German classes for those in favour of learning a foreign language.

School readiness

School readiness is of vital importance for us at Natasha's babyland/Wonderland, however, it is not limited to reading, writing and counting. Careful consideration and preparation in all aspects of your childs development are taken into consideration from fine and gross motor skills to social, emotional and cognitive development.
